This Friday I interviewed random occupants of the RC on who was better-dressed: Rebecca or Vincent. The results are in, and Rebecca has won with fourteen votes, Vincent trailing far behind with two (a pity vote from me, and a gracious contribution from Rebecca herself).
Let’s see what the competition looked like:

Vincent was looking pretty good—he’s got the technique of layering down, one of the survival skills necessary for a Seattle winter.
But you can see from his face that Vincent knew he couldn’t stand up to this:

Varsha put it this way: “Rebecca dresses so awesome every day.”
I couldn’t put it better myself.
Bystanders had this to say…
Anisa: “You can’t compare them. They’re both great in different ways.”
Sophie: “He’s definitely stylish.”
Enrico: “Vincent always looks like an ***hole, so Rebecca.
Thomas: “They’re both as best dressed as either of them could be without wearing a tux or a prom dress.”
And finally, Vincent, on how he felt about losing to Rebecca: “Not…bad.”

Today, Rebecca was looking stylish as always, and it was a perfect time to interview her about the latest outfit to come through the RC, which some interpreted as “cool” and “classy”.
Bat wing-sleeved cardigan: H&M with applique detail
Silk shell dress: Banana Republic
Thin tan belt: H&M
Shoes: Via Spiga. They were a great deal at $20 from a shoe warehouse sale. Unfortunately Amazon bought out zappos :( so now you can’t enjoy them.
Rebecca: “I buy a lot of good things at Nordstrom Rack.”
What passers-by had to say:
Varsha: “Every day I look at my closet and cry.”
Renata: “I look like a hobo in this jacket. My mom says it’s practical.”
Rebecca (in response): “I don’t own a raincoat.” But at least she looks fashionable!
